"Recently I’ve been obsessed with the rap beef between Kendrick and Drake. It’s been a while since Hiphop has had such an iconic rap beef at such a mainstream level. Just so people know I am team Kendrick all the way, I think he is the more creative artist, however I do listen to Drake more often haha. One of the stand out tracks from the disses back and forth would be Kendrick’s “Not Like Us”, produced by one of my favorite producers of all time DJ Mustard. I found out about DJ Mustard production from his club anthems of the early 2000s, and he has been such a huge inspiration for me. His bass lines are so infectious and melodies are simple yet catchy. When I started off producing I would try to emulated his sound. He defo gave me the blueprint when it comes to production and my focus on bass lines defo came from him. So here I made a playlist of some of my favorite DJ Mustard songs over the years! A lot of classics in here hope yall enjoy ✍️"
