What have you been wearing on stage? Anything new you've been liking?

I really like buying lingerie or accessories from the anime lingerie brand “moe-flavor”, and adding to them to create a whole look. I’ve also been wearing a couple of outfits from “Shay-Kawaii”, which is a rave brand that mixes a lot of elements of cyber goth, Y2K, and Tokyo street style. One of my favorite pieces recently is a miniskirt from the brand ouchhh. It’s easy to dance around in and just super cute!

I haven’t done too many collaborations in the past, but for this tour I’m wearing a couple pieces onstage from Nuwa1997 by Niohuru X!

Do you make any special pieces?

I haven’t technically made anything myself, but I do put a lot of effort into curating random pieces to create something that matches my vision. I’d love to make an outfit completely out of stuffed animals. My friend just gave me a pair of boots with a bunch of hello kitty plushes glued onto them, and I’d really love to go all out with a look like that from head-to-toe.

I buy a lot of things from the brands I mentioned earlier, as well as from a dance store called “stage of hollywood” on Hollywood blvd. I’ve ordered a lot of custom pieces from them to match with the items I buy from moeflavor.

Where does your sense of style come from? Any special sources of inspiration?
PiNKII
I grew up listening to Japanese idols, and I really loved seeing the cute outfits they would wear on stage. I already go all out with my everyday style, so I like what I wear on stage to feel more like a costume. I also have to make sure whatever I’m wearing is going to be easy to move around in, since I like to jump around a lot on stage.
I take a lot of inspiration from jpop idols, but also love a cyber/y2k vibe. I want to look like an idol character you’d see in a sega game from the early 2000’s.
