I like to perform in gowns cause it’s just one piece of clothing to throw on and it’s guaranteed to look good. But I will be wearing suits as well this tour run.

I mostly worked with my friend Alexis Franklin this album run. And for the upcoming live shows.

I think my style has gotten a lot more interesting over the years. I’m more willing to try new things.

Where does your sense of style come from? Any special sources of inspiration?

Mostly from growing up in New York and the adults I was around as a kid. They were always so stylish and still reference them.
