I’ve been feeling way more confident in my body and I’ve been looking for comfortable statement pieces I can have in my suitcase and repeat again and again for an easy tour life.

I like to use pieces from my designer friends such as Cruda shoes (Pamela from Costa Rica Mexico City based), I like big statement garments from Sanchez Kane.

Do you collaborate with anyone? A stylist? A friend?

Fer sempere has been my friend stylist for all the El Sur era. so exciting to work with someone that knows your shape and your needs. I also love working with Thania Diaz, an amazing Mexican makeup artist, she goes on tour with me and creates statement wearable livable looks for me. I enjoy making my friends part of the looks cause they know me better than anyone and that shows.

Do you make any special pieces?

on my last us tour I worked with a long time friend from highschool Alma and her brand Almammi to design together with my stylist a couple pieces with a lot of fabric and movement for stage ⇝

Where do you find stage clothes? Any fav shops?

I do a lot of instagram vintage bazar girlies shopping in Mexico City, also love Kim shui for performing, and Reserva store – a vintage store in Mexico City more 90s focused.

Where does your sense of style come from? Any special sources of inspiration?

I like garments that have a personal story but that are able to shapeshift with me. I love jeans prints and leather. Big inspo is Brian molko from placebo, julieta Venegas in the 90s. I am also into dries van notten long skirt fever in the 90s. tend to go a little bit dark in my style since I was young.
