What have you been wearing on stage? Anything new you've been liking?
TOMGIRL504EVER (@tomgirl504ever)
Recently I’ve been rotating between a few “signatures” of mine. Specifically my white fuzzy hat gifted to me by my bestie, bby t, my iPod shuffle barrettes, and corsets. I swear that white fuzzy hat holds special powers. Every time I wear it I feel like I turn into the absolute cuntiest version of myself. It’s the best feeling in the world.

I’ve also been fucking with wearing pink boxing gloves heavy recently. I love how they’re equally adorable and intimidating.

Do you collaborate with anyone? A stylist? A friend?
TOMGIRL504EVER
My best friend/creative director, Carth (@unclecarth & @cmeyerr), and my cousin, Olivia (@olivialburgess & @olb.studio), both give me a lot of inspiration. They’re like the cool older sisters with immaculate taste. I’m super lucky to have first dibs on their hand me downs. They’ve given me my most favorite pieces of jewelry that I’ve ever owned and we always have a good time picking out looks together for shoots and performances. So I would say they’re definitely my style fairy godmothers. Carth specifically shoots and edits most of my content so it’s so ridiculously fun to work with her and wear her pieces. It creates an even more special bond between us.

Do you make any special pieces?
TOMGIRL504EVER
About a year ago I started painting TOMGIRL504EVER on the backs of my jeans. That was fun and I really enjoyed doing that. This year I plan on making more pieces for myself. I’ve been focusing so much on the music that I’ve, admittedly, started to slack off. I do, however, wear iPod shuffle hair clips that I made back in 2021 a lot. Those are probably my most worn pieces out of all of the things I’ve made. I love how they add femininity and nostalgia to a look.

Where do you find stage clothes? Any fav shops?
TOMGIRL504EVER
Honestly a lot of the clothes I find happen through sheer luck — a crazy t-shirt left on a stoop in Brooklyn, a pair of earrings left on a park bench ready to be loved, an estate sale of an old debutante in New Orleans, and also things that can be shipped one-day from Amazon.
My style inspiration comes from the Southern Gothic and "trashy" aesthetic with a hint of romance.

Where does your sense of style come from? Any special sources of inspiration?
TOMGIRL504EVER
I am a proud southern girl and I feel like a lot of my style inspiration comes from the Southern Gothic and “trashy” aesthetic with a hint of romance. Being born and raised in New Orleans, LA, everyday would inspire a new look based off of the people/characters around me. I went to a creative arts high school right outside of the French Quarter and during lunch my friends and I would people-watch and be in awe of all of the looks we’d see on the neighborhood drag queens, debutantes, and local musicians. There’s a charm and sex appeal in the style down there that I’m working so hard to have bleed into my style and music. Everything about that city is so different, so unique and awe inspiring. Also, anyone who knows me knows that my mother is just a style icon and I “steal” looks from her all of the time.
